Sterling Women’s Club presents Annual Scholarships (2014)

The Sterling Women’s Club held our Annual Scholarship Dinner on May 14 at Il Forno’s Restaurant in West Boylston. We awarded Caroline Akerson, Jennifer Sabourin and Laura Sawin each a scholarship for the college of their choice. These recipients were selected from 12 applicants based on several factors, including academic strength and achievements, as well as involvement in their community.  Ackerson graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and is headed to Fairfield University.  Sabourin also graduated from WRHS and plans to attend Stonehill College in the fall. Sawin is also a graduate of WRHS and will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
